Privacy policy
Advendo is a marketing platform where AI agents do client work: briefs become tasks, agents draft copy and images, and humans approve everything before it ships. This page explains what we hold, why, and who else sees it.

We read your connected advertising and store data so the platform can report on it. We never post, spend, publish or change anything in your accounts. We do not sell data, and we do not use your business data to train AI models. You can disconnect any account at any time, from inside Advendo and from the platform’s own settings.
Who we are
Advendo is operated by ALSOF PUBLISHING PTY. LIMITED (ABN 22 139 919 734), a company registered in Australia. For anything in this policy, including access and deletion requests, contact justin@advendo.ai or info@alsofpublishing.com.au.
What we collect, and why
We do not run advertising or tracking pixels on the Advendo application, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
Accounts you connect
Connections are opt-in, one at a time, and every one is read-only. You choose which account to connect, and you can remove it later without our help.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising)
When you connect a Meta ad account, you sign in with Facebook and choose one ad account to share. We request two permissions:
ads_read- to read performance figures for that account: spend, impressions, frequency and cost per purchase, per ad. We use these to grade each active ad against a target you set.business_management- used once, to add our business as a view-only Partneron the single account you selected. We do this instead of holding a long-lived access token, so the permission lives in Meta’s own system where you can see it and revoke it yourself.
We do not request permission to create, edit, pause or spend on your ads, and the platform has no code that could do so. To remove our access at any time: Meta Business settings → Partners → remove Advendo. You can also disconnect from inside Advendo.
Shopify
We request the read_products scope only, to read your catalogue - product names, prices and links - so agents write about real items rather than inventing them. Nothing is ever written back to your store. We do not read orders, customers or payment information.
AI providers, and training
Advendo is built on AI models we do not host. To produce your work, the content of your briefs, your brand profile and relevant Knowledge Base material is sent to Anthropic and OpenAI, routed through the Vercel AI Gateway. Image generation is sent to Higgsfield.
We use these providers under business terms that do not permit your content to be used for training their models. We do not train any model on your data ourselves. If you need the current sub-processor list or their terms for your own compliance review, ask us and we will send them.
Credentials you store - API keys and access tokens - are held server-side, are never returned to the browser after saving, and are never included in the material sent to AI providers.
Who else sees your data
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. It is shared only with the service providers that make the product work:
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. If Advendo is ever sold or merged, your data may transfer to the new owner, and we will tell you before that happens.
Where your data is held
Advendo is hosted on infrastructure in the United States, and our providers may process data in other countries. If you are in the EEA or the UK, transfers outside your region rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
Work you create is kept for as long as your workspace is open, because that is your record of it. Performance figures pulled from a connected account are refreshed on each read and are not kept as a long-term archive.
When you disconnect an account, we delete the stored credential immediately. Note that removing a Meta partner grant is done on Meta’s side, by you - disconnecting in Advendo stops us reading, but the partner entry stays until you remove it in Business settings. When you close a workspace we delete its data within 30 days, except anything we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to a use. You can also ask for it in a portable format. Email justin@advendo.ai and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are in the EEA or UK and you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access tokens and API keys are stored server-side and are never sent back to the browser once saved - the interface shows only a masked preview so you can confirm which credential is stored. Each workspace’s data is isolated, and access is scoped to the people you invite. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
Children
Advendo is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data we will update this page and change the date at the top. For anything significant - a new category of data, a new purpose - we will tell workspace owners directly rather than relying on you noticing.
